Well-drilling site #1: salt water

Hi all,

Disappointing news about the first site.  While they did hit water it turned out to be salty.   They have moved on to site #2 which is a village called "The Fever".  You can see from the photo the difference between normal water (on the right) and water sample from the water hole in this village.

This water hole can run dry in the dry season. During the rest of the year it is the main water source for this area.

We remain very hopeful for good news!

I do not doubt that the modern Western church badly needs a lot of things, one of them being more confidence that God is working powerfully among us and wants us to do more than we have been willing to do in his service.   John G. Stackhouse
